Author of Good Green Kitchens,
Redux and Good Green Homes, Jennifer Roberts is a writer, lecturer and consultant who advocates ways in
which we can improve our environment and enrich our lives by building better buildings.
She has written about green buildings and green living for publications as
varied as Dwell, Professional Builder, Body
+ Soul and The Financial Times of London. Before embarking on a freelance
writing career, Jennifer worked as an environmental and energy-management specialist for Gap Inc., and in the early 1990s
started up San Francisco’s first environmental general stores.
Educated at Dartmouth College and Stanford University, Jennifer has a certificate
in urban permaculture design and has professional accreditation from LEED, the U.S. Green Building Council program that
recognizes expertise in green building practices and principles. She lives in San Francisco.
